From world-renowned artist Greg Olsen comes a unique poem sharing the true reason for the sacred holiday season of Christmas. In this beautifully illustrated Christmas giftbook, readers will join Santa Claus as he enters a family room on Christmas Eve and discovers an ornate Nativity scene representing the birth of Jesus. With deep appreciation, Santa picks up the porcelain manger holding the Christ child and then reflects upon the many reasons he loves Jesus. As the narration unfolds, the reader can reflect upon the events of the Savior’s life through Greg Olsen’s masterful sketches and original artwork. After Santa returns the manger to the Christmas creche, he continues his Christmas Eve journey, leaving this reminder: That’s the Spirit of Christmas when all’s said and done, God’s gift of love, that came as His Son! This cherished Christmas poem and giftbook is ideal for families to read together to make Jesus Christ the focus of the season.
