Micah is almost eight, adventurous, and living in Judea long ago with his donkey, Dexter. When he hears people talk about a wonderful man named Jesus who heals and blesses, Micah sets out to find Him. Over several days of searching he learns how Jesus loved and served, and Micah begins doing the same—returning a lost blanket, including a lonely girl in play. Discovering that being like Jesus makes him happy, Micah keeps looking until, at last, he finds Him.
A relatable boy hero and his lovable donkey make the search for Jesus feel like a warm adventure.
Teaches kids they 'find' Jesus by loving and serving others—concrete, doable examples.
Stunning cinematic illustrations by Kevin Keele bring ancient Judea to life.
Perfect Easter or baptism gift that centers Christ without being preachy.
